Adani and Google Expand AI Data Centres
The Adani Group and Google are both making big plans to build more AI data centres.
The Adani Group wants to spend a lot of money over the next five years to build these centres in different places in India.
They also want to use clean energy like solar, wind, and even nuclear power to run these centres.
Google's parent company, Alphabet, is buying a company called Intersect for $4.75 billion.
Intersect helps find ways to get more energy for data centres.
Both companies are working hard to make sure they have enough energy to support all the new AI technology.
Adani Group plans to invest Rs 1 trillion over the next five years in AI data centres and infrastructure in India.
Google's parent Alphabet is acquiring clean energy developer Intersect for $4.75 billion to support its AI data centre expansion.
Adani Group aims to develop AI data centres with capacities of more than 1 gigawatt in multiple locations, using renewable and nuclear energy.
Intersect, which focuses on increasing and diversifying energy supply, will operate independently under Alphabet while continuing its energy projects.
India's nuclear power capacity is set to increase from 8 gigawatts to 100 gigawatts by 2047 to meet the energy demands of AI data centres.
