Google Adds Preferred Sources and More Personalization Controls
Google is giving people more control over the news and information they see.
A new Preferred Sources button will let you choose websites you like.
Those websites may then appear more often in parts of Google Search.
Google Discover will also let you describe what topics or links you want to see more or less of.
For example, you could ask for road-trip videos without camping.
Discover will remember these requests and adjust your feed.
Google News on Android will let you choose topics for daily audio briefings.
The briefings will show where the information came from and link to full articles.
Google says more than 600,000 different sources have already been selected by users.
