‘Mohammad’ Deepak Gets Bail After Arrest in Kotdwar Threat Case

Gym owner Deepak Kumar, who is also called ‘Mohammad’ Deepak, was granted bail after being arrested.

A businessman named Sanjeev Tonk said Deepak abused and threatened him.

Tonk said the disagreement began after he commented on one of Deepak’s social media posts.

According to Tonk’s complaint, Deepak came to his shop on Thursday morning.

These are allegations, not a finding described in the reports.

Police said they arrested Deepak to prevent more trouble and a possible disturbance.

They later added more charges, saying the investigation and CCTV footage supported doing so.

Deepak was released after providing three bonds, and officials said he was warned to avoid disturbing the peace for six months.
