UP Cabinet Approves Multiple Development Initiatives
The Uttar Pradesh government has made several important decisions to help people and improve the state.
First, they approved a plan to help 99 families who moved from East Pakistan a long time ago.
These families will get land to live on in new villages.
Second, they made a new policy to redevelop old buildings and areas in cities, which will make cities better places to live.
Third, they changed the rules for brick kilns to make it easier to set them up and provide more jobs.
Finally, they decided to use Aadhaar cards to make sure property registration is safe and fair.
All these decisions aim to help people and make the state better.
UP Cabinet approved the rehabilitation of 99 Hindu families displaced from East Pakistan, resettling them in Bhainsaya and Tajpur Tarsauli villages, Kanpur Dehat district.
Each family will receive 0.50 acres of land on a 90-year lease, complying with National Green Tribunal orders.
The Cabinet approved the Urban Redevelopment Policy 2026 to redevelop underutilized areas and buildings in cities, promoting economic growth and better living conditions.
Amendments to the Brick Kiln Rules were approved to ease site norms, reducing the distance between kilns and residential areas to 800 meters and legalizing existing kilns.
Aadhaar authentication will be implemented for property registration from February 1, 2026, to enhance transparency and security in the registration process.
