PMC Extends Property Tax Waiver Deadline
The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has decided to extend the deadline for its Income Tax Abhay Yojana to February 15, 2026.
This scheme helps property owners pay their pending taxes with a 75% waiver on penalties.
So far, the scheme has collected ₹785.59 crore from nearly 1.30 lakh property owners.
The PMC extended the deadline because many people are taking advantage of the scheme, and there are still around ₹3,200 crore in pending property tax dues.
