Jagan directs YSRCP legislators to raise public issues in Assembly

Mr. Jagan Reddy is a leader of a big political party in Andhra Pradesh, a state in India.

He used to be the top leader of the state.

Now he wants his party to have a special role in the state's meetings, called the Leader of the Opposition.

The leaders running the state now did not give his party that role.

Because of that, his party did not attend the meetings for two whole years.

Now he has told his party members to go back and ask questions at the meetings.

He wants them to talk about problems like students not getting money they were promised for school.

He also asked for an investigation into money he says was taken unfairly in a teacher recruitment process.

He also picked a person named Thumati Madhava Rao to run for a job in the state's upper house.

He wants the government to listen to regular people and fix these problems.
