Canada Issues Invitations for Permanent Residence
Canada is letting more people move there!
They invited 2,500 people who are good at French to apply to live in Canada permanently.
These people were chosen based on how good they are at different things like education and work.
They have a score, and if it's high enough, they get an invitation.
The lowest score that got an invitation this time was 481.
If two people have the same score, the one who applied earlier gets the invitation.
This is part of a program called Express Entry, and it helps Canada choose who gets to become a permanent resident.
Canada issued 2,500 invitations for permanent residence on August 8, 2025.
Invitations were sent under the French language proficiency category.
The lowest-ranked candidate's CRS score was 481.
The tie-breaking rule was July 18, 2025, at 05:16:06 UTC.
