Sanjay Nirupam Criticizes Uddhav Thackeray's Ram Raksha Movement
Uddhav Thackeray, the leader of Shiv Sena (UBT), started a movement called Ram Raksha to protest against the theft of donations for the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
However, Sanjay Nirupam, another leader from the same party, criticized Thackeray's movement.
Nirupam said that Thackeray's party doesn't really care about Lord Ram and is just trying to save their shrinking support.
He also accused Thackeray of abandoning the party's core ideology, Hindutva, when they joined hands with the Congress party in 2019.
Thackeray responded by saying that it's their duty to protect Lord Ram and asked about the looting of temple funds.
He also denied abandoning Hindutva and accused the BJP of betraying their own ideology.
Thackeray plans to take the Ram Raksha Movement across Maharashtra and to important Hindu sites like Ayodhya and Kashi Vishwanath.
