Over 10,000 Wild Animals Rehabilitated at Asola Bhatti

Over the past few years, a lot of wild animals have been helped and moved to a safe place called Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary in Delhi.

More than 10,000 animals, including monkeys, snakes, birds, and small mammals, have been taken care of since 2021.

The city's officials and some helpful groups have been working together to rescue these animals from places where they might get hurt or cause trouble.

Monkeys are the most common animals that need help, but snakes and birds are also often rescued.

The main reasons animals need rescuing are because they get hurt, fall from places, get stuck, or get electrocuted.

Most of these rescues happen in certain areas of Delhi, like Sangam Vihar and Bhatti Mines.

The number of animals that need help changes every year, but the efforts to save them continue.
