Deakin University awards 50% scholarships to eight Indian students
Deakin University in Australia is giving large scholarships to eight students connected to four Indian universities.
Each student will receive help covering half of their Deakin tuition fees.
The scholarships are for the 2026 study year.
Six students have already been chosen, and two more will be selected later.
The students were recognised for strong academic work, leadership and big goals.
Some recipients want to study data science or cybersecurity.
Deakin says its partnerships help students build on their education in India while gaining international experience.
The university also works with Indian institutions on research, degrees and student exchanges.
