Karnataka leaders warn against police misconduct

The Chief Minister and Home Minister of Karnataka recently spoke to the police about important issues.

They said that cybercrime and drug crimes are increasing, and the police need to be more vigilant.

They also warned that some police officers are involved in criminal activities, which is not acceptable.

The leaders want to make Karnataka a drug-free state and have ordered the immediate deportation of foreign drug traffickers.

They also talked about the need to verify the backgrounds of new residents to check for illegal immigrants.

Additionally, they emphasized the importance of protecting the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities and ensuring that separate police stations for these communities function effectively.

The Home Minister also mentioned that a Congress leader, Rajeev Gowda, who is accused of abusing a woman officer, is absconding and will be arrested soon.
