EPFO Opens 2026 Campaign for Employees Left Outside Coverage
EPFO has started a special campaign for workers who were not enrolled in its coverage.
The campaign began on July 1, 2026.
Employers can use it until October 31, 2026.
It applies to eligible employees missed between April 1, 2009, and March 31, 2026.
Employers must add these employees through the EPFO employer portal.
In some cases, the workers’ share of the contribution does not have to be paid.
Employers still have to pay their own share.
They must also pay interest, administrative charges and a lump-sum damage.
The Employees’ Enrolment Campaign 2026 began on July 1 and will run until October 31.
Employers can voluntarily enrol eligible employees previously left outside EPFO coverage.
The opportunity covers employees left out between April 1, 2009, and March 31, 2026.
Eligible employees must be enrolled through the EPFO employer portal.
If the employee contribution was not deducted, employers need to pay only their share, plus interest, administrative charges and lump-sum damage.
