HNBGU Launches Diploma for Agniveers
HNBGU, a university in Srinagar, has teamed up with the Garhwal Rifles to create special courses for Agniveers, who are young people serving in the military.
These courses will help Agniveers learn new skills and find jobs after they finish their service.
The courses last eight months and were designed by teachers from the university.
The leaders of both the university and the Garhwal Rifles are excited about this partnership because it will help Agniveers have a brighter future and encourage more young people to join the military.
The university's vice-chancellor is proud that his institution is working with the military to support the nation's defenders.
HNBGU and GRRC signed an MoU to offer skill-based diploma and certificate courses for Agniveers.
The courses are designed to improve re-employment opportunities for Agniveers after their military service.
The program includes an eight-month diploma and certificate course developed by HNBGU faculty.
The initiative aims to motivate more youth to join the defence forces as Agniveers.
Both HNBGU and GRRC officials expressed enthusiasm about the partnership and its future benefits.
