Drishyam 3 Controversy: Akshaye Khanna's Exit
Akshaye Khanna left the movie Drishyam 3 just before filming was about to start.
The director, Abhishek Pathak, said Akshaye wanted to change his look, which wouldn't make sense for the story.
They had already signed a contract and agreed on payment, but Akshaye still left.
Now, another actor, Jaideep Ahlawat, will play a new character in the movie.
The director says Jaideep is not replacing Akshaye.
The movie is coming out in 2026.
Akshaye Khanna exited Drishyam 3 five days before filming due to a disagreement over his character's look.
Director Abhishek Pathak clarified that Jaideep Ahlawat is playing a new character, not replacing Akshaye.
The contract was signed in November, and financial matters were resolved before Akshaye's exit.
Akshaye's exit was not due to financial issues, as previously rumored.
Drishyam 3 is scheduled for release on October 2, 2026.
