India's Energy Sector Super Highway Through Rajasthan
India is building a big energy super highway through Rajasthan.
The government has approved a huge project called the Green Energy Corridor–III, which will help produce a lot of clean energy.
Rajasthan is getting a lot of land for solar energy projects, and the state is already leading in solar and renewable energy.
The government is also helping farmers produce solar energy through a special program.
They are also building big batteries to store extra energy.
This will make Rajasthan a big provider of clean energy instead of just using it.
The Green Energy Corridor–III has been approved, developing a 115-gigawatt system in Rajasthan.
Rajasthan is a leader in solar and renewable energy capacity in India.
23,386 hectares of land have been allotted for renewable energy projects, enabling 10,202 MW of capacity.
Additional 51,808 hectares allocated for solar parks with a capacity of 26,784 MW.
PM-KUSUM scheme has empowered farmers, with 5,002 solar projects issued and 1,019 installed.
