Dhinakaran Accuses Vijay Government of Film-Set-Style Political Governance

Dhinakaran Accuses Vijay Government of Film-Set-Style Political Governance

T T V Dhinakaran criticized Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay and his government.

He said Vijay was acting more like a film actor than an administrator.

Dhinakaran claimed the government was using social media videos and publicity instead of solving problems.

He said Mettur Dam was opened without enough study or consultation with farmers.

He argued that delta farmers need water to flow continuously for 25 to 30 days during severe droughts.

Dhinakaran also said an election promise to waive some crop loans had been put aside.

He alleged that contracts connected to gold welfare schemes went to jewellery companies from Kerala.

He criticized TVK lawmakers and ministers as inexperienced.

The report contains Dhinakaran’s allegations and does not include a response from the government.
