Crystal Lake Prequel Revisits Pamela Voorhees Before Friday the 13th

Crystal Lake is a new television series set before the first Friday the 13th movie.

Linda Cardellini plays Pamela Voorhees.

In the story, Pamela’s young son Jason drowned at Crystal Lake nearly a year earlier.

Pamela believes he may still be somewhere nearby.

She searches for him and refuses to accept that he is gone.

Two strangers arrive and begin asking questions about her past.

As Pamela searches, people start turning up dead.

The series shows what happened before Pamela became the killer in the original movie.

It will have eight episodes and premiere on Peacock in the United States on October 15.
