Houthis Claim Riyadh Oil Facility Attack as Fighting Intensifies

The Houthis said they attacked an oil facility near Saudi Arabia’s capital, Riyadh.

A journalist saw fire and smoke at a refinery there.

Saudi officials had not publicly commented on the reported attack.

The Houthis also accused Saudi Arabia of carrying out many air strikes on Sanaa, Yemen’s capital.

Reporters in Sanaa said they heard explosions and saw missiles fired by warplanes.

The Houthis reported strikes on a communications network in Saada, too.

The fighting between the sides has grown since a four-year truce ended.

The Houthis have also announced a blockade on Saudi ships in the Red Sea.
