Wedding Drones Prompt Safety Measures Near Bareilly Air Force Station
Officials in Bareilly are worried that drones used to film weddings could get too close to airplanes.
They want authorities to watch for these drones and prevent unsafe flights near the Air Force station.
Birds in nearby areas could also endanger planes when they take off or land.
Some buildings may be taller than allowed, which can create another safety problem.
Officials also discussed flooding, poor drainage and piles of waste.
Monkeys, stray dogs and open waste from meat shops were additional concerns.
Police will patrol the area more often.
Officials will check construction and remove unauthorised vendors.
The administration and Air Force personnel also plan to practise a joint emergency drill.
Bareilly authorities ordered stronger monitoring of drones used for wedding and party photography near the Air Force station.
Officials identified birds, unauthorised construction and drones as major flight-safety risks around the station.
Bird activity was reported near Chawad, Bhuda, the Nainital Highway and the Delhi Highway, particularly during take-off and landing.
