Pakistan Chief Claims Divine Help in Conflict

Pakistan's army chief, Asim Munir, said that divine help protected Pakistan during a four-day conflict with India in May.

This conflict started after terrorists killed 26 people in Kashmir.

India launched strikes on terror targets in Pakistan, and Pakistan responded with its own operation.

Munir also mentioned that most of the terrorists infiltrating Pakistan are from Afghanistan.

He spoke about this at a conference in Islamabad.

Pakistan blames Afghanistan for allowing terrorists to use their land, but Afghanistan denies this.

Munir also said that Pakistan has a special role in protecting important Islamic sites.

Meanwhile, Tripura's Chief Minister deployed a 1971 war battalion to address rising unrest in Bangladesh, alleging Pakistan's involvement in fueling the unrest.
