Verizon Beats Estimates with Strong Q4 2025 Performance
Verizon, a big telecom company in the US, just had a really good fourth quarter in 2025.
They made more money than people thought they would and added a lot of new customers.
They added over 600,000 new phone subscribers and over a million new mobility and broadband customers.
This is the best they've done in years.
They also bought another company called Frontier Communications, which helps them reach more homes and businesses with their fibre network.
Verizon's leaders are happy because they think the company is starting to do better.
They plan to keep growing and making their customers happy.
They also expect to make even more money in 2026.
Verizon added 616,000 postpaid phone subscribers in Q4 2025, the highest since 2019.
Total mobility and broadband net additions crossed one million, the strongest since 2019.
Verizon reported adjusted earnings per share of $1.09, beating estimates of $1.06.
Total revenue for Q4 2025 was $36.4 billion, exceeding expectations by about $200 million.
Verizon expects free cash flow of at least $21.5 billion in 2026, a 7% growth.
