Mumbai Man Gets 10 Years For Stabbing Over Rejected Proposal
A man in Mumbai named Anil Babar wanted a woman from his neighborhood to marry him.
She said no many times, but he kept bothering and scaring her.
She told the police, and he was arrested, but he kept following her after he was let out.
One morning, as she left for work, he followed her and grabbed her hand.
When her mother came to help, he threatened them and stabbed the woman twice with a knife.
A police officer who rushed to help was hurt by the man too.
The court listened to the woman, her mother, and the officer and believed them.
The man said it was a lie, but the judge said no, he did something very wrong.
