Bihar Job Aspirants Detained During Patna Lok Bhavan March

Job aspirants in Bihar marched in Patna to ask for fairer recruitment rules.

They wanted to continue toward Lok Bhavan, but police stopped them near R-Golumber with barricades.

A scuffle happened when some protesters tried to cross the barricades.

Officials said police used mild force to disperse the protesters.

Several people were detained afterward.

University guest faculty members and PhD holders want UGC rules followed when assistant professors are appointed.

They also want a higher age limit, regular appointments, and a domicile policy.

Other protesters want changes to the BPSC TRE-4 teacher examination.

Some groups said they might protest at the chief minister’s residence or call a Bihar bandh if the government did not discuss their demands.
