A big group of government leaders studied how hospitals charge patients money.
They found that sick people often have to pay a lot of their own money for treatment.
One big cost is the room you stay in while getting better.
The leaders think hospital rooms should not cost more than nice hotel rooms nearby.
They also want hospitals to offer complete care packages for one fair price.
Some hospitals are not happy because they say they need more money to run well.

A parliamentary panel has recommended capping private hospital room charges at the average room tariffs of nearby three-star hotels.
Patients paid Rs 34,064 out of pocket of the Rs 37,858 average inpatient treatment cost in India.
Hospitalisation cost averaged Rs 6,631 in government hospitals against Rs 50,508 in private hospitals, per the 80th National Sample Survey round.
The panel proposed Continuum of Care packages bundling preventive, diagnostic, curative and palliative services under a single capped financial umbrella.
The panel urged uniform adoption and strict enforcement of the Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2010; a Supreme Court case on standardising hospital charges remains pending.
