UK's Starmer to Convene Cabinet over Gaza, Palestine Recognition

The UK's Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, is calling a meeting next week to talk about the crisis in Gaza, possibly because some people want him to recognize Palestine as a country.

Members of his own party have asked him to do this.

However, Starmer said the UK will only recognize Palestine if it's part of a peace agreement.

This follows similar actions by other countries like France, though the UK usually agrees with the United States on foreign policy.
