Silk Board Double-Decker Flyover Set to Open by Year-End
A new double-decker flyover is almost finished in Bengaluru!
It's like building a road on top of another road to help cars move faster.
This flyover will connect two busy areas: HSR Layout and BTM Layout.
One part of the flyover is already open, and the rest should be done by the end of the year.
It will make it easier to get around and should help to reduce traffic jams.
Even with the new flyover, traffic lights will still be needed at the junction.
Some people are also concerned about how easy it is for pedestrians to get around the area.
Bengaluru's double-decker flyover at Silk Board is expected to be fully ready by the end of 2025.
The flyover will connect HSR Layout to BTM Layout.
One side of the flyover was opened in November 2024.
Delays were caused by heavy traffic, restricted construction hours, and design changes.
Traffic signals will remain at the Silk Board junction even after the flyover is operational.
