Alonso: New Real Madrid Arrivals Handled La Liga Pressure

Real Madrid's new players performed well in their first match, according to their coach, Xabi Alonso.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dean Huijsen, and Alvaro Carreras started the game, while Franco Mastantuono played as a substitute.

Kylian Mbappe's penalty secured the win.

Alonso noted the new players weren't overwhelmed.

Rodrygo, who may leave the team, didn't play, but Alonso said he counts on him for the season.
