Akhilesh Yadav Says Alliance Victory Matters More Than Seats

Akhilesh Yadav leads the Samajwadi Party.

His party is discussing how to share election seats with the Congress in Uttar Pradesh.

Yadav said winning together is more important than deciding how many seats each party gets.

He said the parties should work together to protect democracy, the Constitution and reservation.

He also said the effort should help prevent communalism and support harmony and development.

Uttar Pradesh’s next Assembly election is scheduled for 2027.

In the 2024 national election, the Samajwadi Party won 37 seats in the state and Congress won six.

Yadav says the alliance’s shared goal should come first.
