Nepal Ex-PM Faces Graft Charge Over Land Deal

Former Prime Minister of Nepal, Madhav Kumar Nepal, is facing corruption charges.

He's accused of allowing a company owned by Indian yoga guru Baba Ramdev to buy too much land.

The government's corruption watchdog wants Nepal to pay a $1.35 million fine.

If found guilty, he could also go to jail for up to 17 years.

Nepal denies doing anything wrong, claiming it's a political attack.

The yoga company also denies any wrongdoing, saying they bought the land legally.

The court has charged 92 other people, including former officials.

Nepal will get a notice and has 15 days to appear in court.
