Karnataka BJP Threatens Police Station Sieges Over Form-7 FIRs

BJP leader B Y Vijayendra says police are filing cases against people who submitted a voter-list objection form called Form-7.

He says the government should stop those cases.

He warned that the BJP may protest outside police stations and district police offices if the cases continue.

Vijayendra also disagrees with a state decision about which officials can issue permanent residence certificates.

The BJP is preparing for upcoming local elections and expects to work with JD(S) on a by-election candidate.

Vijayendra says problems with local election reservation lists should be fixed and the elections should be fair.

He also wants an impartial investigation into alleged irregularities in government recruitment.

The article does not include a response from the state government to his allegations.
