IGNOU and MSDE Partner to Launch Skill Centers
IGNOU and MSDE have teamed up to create skill centers at all 70 IGNOU Regional Centers.
These centers will offer training programs that help people get better jobs and start businesses.
The programs are designed to meet industry needs and will be tracked digitally.
The partnership aims to help women, young people from rural areas, and those who are new to education or work in informal jobs.
Both organizations are committed to making education and skills work together to boost India's economy.
IGNOU and MSDE signed an MoU to establish skill centers across 70 IGNOU Regional Centers.
The centers will offer NSQF-aligned, industry-focused training programs under PMKVY 4.0.
IGNOU will leverage its digital learning ecosystem and NCVT-recognized status to deliver skill programs.
The collaboration includes placement support through industry partnerships and digital tracking of outcomes.
The initiative aims to strengthen opportunities for women, rural youth, and informal sector workers.
