Arcil Pursues Collection Services, MFI Growth Ahead of IPO

Arcil is a company that helps lenders deal with loans that may not be repaid.

It is planning to sell shares to the public in an IPO worth ₹733 crore.

The IPO will run from September 9 to September 11, but Arcil itself will not get the money from the share sale.

The company is starting a service that collects loan payments for banks and other lenders.

Arcil says lenders are showing encouraging early interest in this service.

It is also studying the microfinance business, but wants to gain more experience first.

The company manages many different kinds of loans, including housing, vehicle and personal loans.

Its retail and small-business operations have grown significantly over the past five years.
