Man Shows Rabies Symptoms After Dog Bite
A 27-year-old man from Gujarat showed signs of rabies after being bitten by a dog about three months ago.
He was taken to the hospital when he started acting strangely, like walking on all fours and being very aggressive.
Doctors say his condition is now stable.
This is the fourth rabies case in the area in the past year.
Another recent case involved a father and son bitten by a stray dog, where the son got sick because he didn't take the medicine to prevent rabies.
A 27-year-old man from Sabarkantha showed rabies symptoms after a dog bite around three months prior.
He was admitted to Civil Hospital in Palanpur on January 30 with severe neurological symptoms.
Symptoms included walking on all fours, aggressive behavior, and hydrophobia (fear of water).
His condition is currently stable, and this is the fourth rabies case in Banaskantha district in the past year.
Another recent case involved a father and son bitten by a stray dog, where the son developed rabies due to not taking anti-rabies vaccine (ARV).
