Iran Vows to Fight Back After Trump Rejects Hormuz Plan

Iran and the United States are in a serious conflict involving the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran says its army is ready if the United States attacks again.

Iranian officials also say fighting again could cause more instability and violence in the region.

At the same time, Iran says negotiations are the best way to solve the dispute.

Iran sent a plan through mediators from Qatar.

The plan would pause fighting and reopen the strait after seven days.

It would then lead to wider talks, possibly about Iran’s nuclear program.

Donald Trump rejected the plan because he said Iran wanted the strait reopened while under pressure.
