Mutual Funds Double Equity Investment
Mutual funds in India have doubled their investment in the stock market to ₹43,465 crore in November 2025.
This is because more people are putting money into these funds, especially through something called SIPs.
The stock market went up because of this, with the Sensex and Nifty indices rising.
Foreign investors, however, took out some money.
Experts say this shows that people are feeling good about investing in the stock market.
Mutual funds' net equity investment doubled to ₹43,465 crore in November 2025 from ₹20,718 crore in October 2025.
Sensex and Nifty indices rose by 1,729 points (2%) and 440 points respectively in November 2025.
Mutual funds were net sellers in debt markets, with net sales of ₹72,201 crore in November 2025.
Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) pulled out ₹3,765 crore in November 2025, compared to a net investment of ₹14,610 crore in October 2025.
SIP inflows increased by 12% to ₹29,529 crore in October 2025 from ₹26,400 crore in January 2025.
