Heather Knight Out for Summer with Hamstring Injury
Heather Knight, the England batter, has been injured.
She hurt her hamstring while playing a cricket match.
A scan showed a serious injury to a tendon in her leg.
Because of this, she can't play in any home games this summer.
She will also miss a trip to India.
The team hopes she will recover in time to play in the World Cup in September.
This means she won't be playing for a little while, and the team is figuring out how to help her get better.
Heather Knight is ruled out of England's home summer due to a hamstring injury.
The injury occurred during a T20 series against West Indies.
An MRI scan revealed a significant tendon injury to her right hamstring.
Knight will miss the one-day series against West Indies and the tour of India.
The England cricket board hopes she will be available for the Women's World Cup in September 2025.
