Ex-TDB official arrested in Sabarimala gold case
A former official named S Sreekumar was arrested because of a case involving missing gold from a temple in Kerala, India.
The gold was supposed to be on special plates, but some people said the plates were made of copper instead of gold.
The court said that if they let S Sreekumar and another official, S Jayasree, go free before the trial, it would be hard to find out what really happened.
This is the seventh arrest in this case.

The team is also investigating two cases involving the loss of gold plates from the Dwarapalaka sculptures and the gold-plated door frames of the Sreekovil.

The Kerala High Court rejected Sreekumar's anticipatory bail plea, stating that the allegations against him were substantial.
Former TDB secretary S Jayasree's anticipatory bail plea was also rejected.
The SIT is investigating the loss of gold from the Dwarapalaka idols and Sreekovil door frames, with seven arrests made so far.
Other key figures arrested include former TDB presidents A Padmakumar and N Vasu, as well as Unnikrishnan Potty and Murari V Babu.
