Goyal to Visit United States for Trade Agreement Talks

India and the United States are trying to make a new trade agreement.

India’s Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal plans to visit the United States near the end of this month.

The visit will continue discussions between the two countries.

The US ambassador said the trade relationship should benefit both sides.

India and the United States are also working together on important minerals and technology.

They are part of a group called Pax Silica.

This group focuses on supplies needed for semiconductors, artificial intelligence and advanced manufacturing.

The United States is an important buyer of Indian auto parts, although Indian exporters faced high US tariffs in 2025.
