Jharkhand cancels JPSC prelims, probes exam irregularities; students want CBI

The government of a place in India called Jharkhand runs big tests, called exams, to choose people for government jobs.

Some people think there were problems with how one of these tests was run.

Many students who want these jobs were upset and went to talk to the government.

The government said it would cancel one of the exams and let special police officers look into money problems.

The government also promised a special fast court so that reports about the problem are finished within 90 days.

But the students still want a different team, called the CBI, to investigate.

The government says it already agreed to almost everything else the students asked for.

The students said they will march to the state assembly building to keep asking for what they want.

The leader of the state asked everyone to share their ideas on a website so the exam system can be made better.
