Kudikunta Lake in Hyderabad Revived After Years of Work
Imagine a lake that was once a smelly trash pile.
After eight long years of hard work by many people, this lake has been brought back to life!
They cleaned it up, treated the dirty water, and planted lots of green plants.
They also built special spots to catch rainwater.
Now, the lake is clean and pretty, and it helps the plants and animals nearby.
A group of people helped make this happen by getting help from local groups and even from big companies who gave some money to help.
They even have people making sure it stays clean now.
Kudikunta Lake in Hyderabad has been revived after eight years of effort.
The lake was once a dumping ground but has been restored with greenery and community involvement.
The revival project began in 2017, led by Kalpana Ramesh of The Rainwater Project.
The restoration involved cleaning, sewage treatment, and rainwater harvesting initiatives.
