Six family members killed in UP crash
A car and a truck carrying vegetables crashed into each other on a road that is still being built in Uttar Pradesh.
This happened near a village called Dhatura Rasoolpur.
Six people from the same family, including three kids and three women, died in the crash.
Two other people were badly hurt and are in the hospital.
The family was coming back from a special ceremony for a baby.
The road is part of the Ganga Expressway, which is not yet finished.
The crash was very bad because both vehicles were going fast on the same lane.
Six members of a family, including three children and three women, were killed in a head-on collision between an Alto car and a vegetable-laden pickup truck on an unopened stretch of the Ganga Expressway in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh.
The accident occurred around 7 pm near Rasulpur Dhatra village in the Hayatnagar police station limits, with both vehicles traveling in the same lane of the incomplete expressway.
The deceased were identified as Renu (35), Riya (10), Bhaskar (7), Geeta (28), Devvati (46), and Kapil (12), all from Adampur town in Amroha district, and were returning from a child's naming ceremony.
The crash was severe, with the front of the truck completely crushed and the Alto almost flattened, indicating both vehicles were moving at high speed.
The injured, including the car driver Rohit Khadgawanshi (36) and his younger son Jai, were taken to local hospitals, with two in critical condition referred to Moradabad district hospital.
