TMC accuses Centre of owing Rs 52,000 crore under MGNREGA
The Trinamool Congress (TMC) says the central government owes West Bengal a lot of money for a program called MGNREGA, which gives people jobs.
The TMC says the government owes around Rs 52,000 crore, but the central government says it's much less.
The TMC leaders also said that West Bengal was doing really well with this program before the funds were stopped.
They are upset because the government hasn't started the program again, even after the court told them to.
The TMC also accused the Finance Minister of saying things that aren't true about the state's growth.
There's also some disagreement about how many companies are leaving or joining West Bengal.
The TMC wants the government to talk about these issues in Parliament.
TMC claims Centre owes West Bengal Rs 52,000 crore under MGNREGA, Centre says Rs 3,082.52 crore.
MGNREGA was suspended in March 2022 due to state's non-compliance with central directives.
