Rajasthan Trains Master Trainers to Combat Gender-Based Violence
Rajasthan is training people called Sathins and Supervisors to become experts, or 'master trainers,' in helping stop violence against women.
These master trainers will learn how to help survivors of gender-based violence by connecting them with support services, examining programs, and making sure money is spent in ways that help women.
The training involves workshops that teach these workers important skills.
These experts will then share their knowledge with others.
This program aims to improve women's safety by empowering the community with resources and information.
The WED and CFAR are collaborating to train master trainers to address gender-based violence in Rajasthan.
The first phase of the training involved 28 Sathins and Supervisors from four districts.
The training aims to equip participants with skills to support survivors and promote gender-responsive budgeting.
Over 105 master trainers will be trained in the first phase who will then train others.
Officials from the Panchayati Raj Department and RSLSA are involved in the initiative.
