Seerah Quiz Urges Mosques to Expand Community Service
A mosque in Hyderabad held a quiz about the life of Prophet Mohammed.
More than 300 boys and girls joined the event.
They were between six and 18 years old.
The organisers wanted children to learn about good behaviour and helping others.
Speakers said a mosque should be more than a place where people pray.
They said it should also help people learn, grow and serve the community.
Masjid-e-Noor plans to hold activities every month.
It also plans to create a fund to help widows, elderly people and families in need.
More than 300 children aged six to 18 took part in a Seerah quiz at Masjid-e-Noor in Hyderabad.
Speakers said mosques should become centres for learning, character-building, youth engagement and service.
The event encouraged children to study Prophet Mohammed’s life and apply its teachings in daily life.
