NURSICON 2026 Highlights Oncology Nurses’ Expanding Cancer-Care Role
NURSICON 2026 was a two-day meeting about caring for people with cancer.
It was held by Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre in Bengaluru.
The conference explained that oncology nurses do much more than help with treatment.
They also help keep patients safe and support their families.
Nurses assist with recovery, rehabilitation and life after treatment.

They also talked about patient rights and care near the end of life.
The conference said nurses need support too because their wellbeing can affect patient care.
