Bhagwat Says Pure Love Guides RSS Work At London Event
Mohan Bhagwat said the RSS is guided by pure and noble love, not hatred.
He said “apnapan,” or a feeling of belonging, should connect people with their families, communities and all humanity.
He described Hindu thought as seeing all existence as connected.
He also said differences between people are natural and should be respected.
Bhagwat argued that people should cooperate instead of treating life as a competition.
He said development should help nature rather than harm it.
He spoke about solutions that benefit people while protecting the environment.
He also said Hindus living in Britain should respect their responsibilities to the country where they live.
He made these remarks at a London dialogue held during the RSS’s centenary outreach.
Mohan Bhagwat said “Shuddha Saatvika Prem,” or pure and noble love, is the foundation of RSS work, rejecting claims that intense hatred guides it.
He described “apnapan,” or belonging, as extending from individuals to families, communities, society and humanity.
Bhagwat said Hindu thought views existence as fundamentally one while respecting natural diversity and different ways of life.
He argued that human development should support nature and called for balanced, mutually beneficial “green solutions.”
