Israel's water management model offers lessons for Warangal, says collector

A leader from a city in India went on a trip to Israel to learn how they take care of water.

Israel is a country that does not have much water, but it has clever ways to save and reuse it.

Nearly all of the dirty water people use is cleaned and used again for farming.

Israel also uses computer maps to find and fix leaky pipes.

Because of this, very little water gets wasted.

The leader wants to use these smart ideas back home in her city, Warangal.

Her city could get a better sewer system and cleaner drinking water.

Ponds in the city could also be fixed up so they can hold more water.

She even met India's ambassador in Israel to talk about working together on water.

Learning from Israel could help keep more water for people to use.
