BJP Demands Expulsion of Vijay Chaudhary Over Viral Audio FIR
A former BJP official named Vijay Chaudhary is in trouble because a recording that spread online said he talked badly about other politicians.
A man named Rohan Sharad Gavit filed a complaint saying Chaudhary made rude comments about a former MP and also said a former minister was doing bad things for the party.
Police have started a case against Chaudhary under special laws that protect people from hate.
The BJP party itself asked the police to take action and even want Chaudhary to leave the party.
They say the recording hurt the party’s reputation because it was not true.
The police officer in charge is Hanumant Gaikwad.
The case is being looked at in 2024 in the Nandurbar area of Maharashtra.
An atrocity case was filed against former BJP district general secretary Vijay Chaudhary over a viral audio clip in Nandurbar district.
The complaint, lodged by resident Rohan Sharad Gavit, alleges Chaudhary made derogatory remarks about former MP Dr Heena Gavit and circulated audio accusing Dr Vijaykumar Gavit of anti‑party activities.
Police registered the case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, and the investigation is led by Sub‑Divisional Police Officer Hanumant Gaikwad.
A BJP delegation submitted a memorandum to the District Collector and Superintendent of Police demanding legal action and Chaudhary’s expulsion from the party.
The memorandum claims the audio clip damaged the BJP’s image by falsely accusing Dr Vijaykumar Gavit of anti‑party conduct.
