UP Government Cracks Down on Unsafe School Transport
The Uttar Pradesh government checked school buses and vans to make sure they are safe for kids.
From July 1st to 15th, they inspected many vehicles and found that some weren't following the rules.
They stopped over 900 unsafe vehicles and fined people.
The government wants schools to use only safe vehicles and is making sure schools check the vehicles they use.
Schools now have to form safety committees and check that the vehicles have all the correct papers and safety features.
If any accidents happen, the school is responsible.
