India Rebukes Pakistan at UN Over Terror and Loans

India and Pakistan argued about Kashmir and other issues at the United Nations.

India said Pakistan should focus on improving its economy instead of seeking territory or supporting terrorism.

India also accused Pakistan of mistreating people in areas it controls in Kashmir.

It mentioned reports of deaths, arrests, and shortages of food and medicine.

India said Jammu and Kashmir will remain part of India.

It also accused Pakistan of sending trained and armed terrorists across the border.

Pakistan had circulated a letter about a decision concerning the Indus Waters Treaty.

India rejected Pakistan’s description of that decision and said the court involved was not properly formed.
